Presentación
Cristina Vicent gained a B.S. in Chemistry from Universidad Complutense of Madrid in 1985. Then, she did her Ph.D. under supervision of Prof. S. Penadés in IQOG - CSIC (crown ether chemistry). As a Royal Society European Exchange fellow worked with Prof. F. Stoddart in 1989 in Sheffield (catenane chemistry). In 1990 moved to University of Pittsburgh for a two years post-doctoral work with Prof. A. Hamilton (hydrogen bonding in model systems chemistry). In 1994 was appointed as a Lecturer at IQOG-CSIC in Madrid and in 2006 became Senior Scientist in IQOG-CSIC.
